Little furry friends

Standard

So, it seems it has only taken three posts in to my new blog before my favourite little furry friend is going to get a mention. Spud, is our gorgeous maltese terrier who is almost 14 and a half years old. Yep, I said years. 🙂

I know I’m biased, but he is the cutest, scruffiest white ball of fluff around town. He is certainly getting on in age and is feeling the cold a lot more nowadays (luckily we moved to the Gold Coast for his retirement a few years ago, haha) so I recently bought him a new warm doggy jumper. (Don’t worry he is not one of those dogs that is dressed in all sorts of weird things and pushed around in a pram, this jumper is purely for practical reasons… warmth.) Bubbles, bubbles and more bubbles

Ahh, finally time to relax

When I was running myself a bath last night and the bubbles were beginning to take over the room, I realised that these iridescent, hollow spheres made from soapy water can be a great source of happiness to many people. Let me explain.

One of my favourite things to do to relax is to have a hot bath. And I mean hot. Sometimes it’s so hot it takes me about 10-15 minutes to slowly slide into it, as my skin takes time to get accustomed to the temperature inch my inch. And this hot bath has to have bubbles – lots of bubbles. It’s just not the same without them. Like the bubbles have some kind of endorphins in them making me feel happy and relaxed. (Or maybe it’s just that the water is so damn hot, I am partially passed out. Haha. Perhaps, I should see if I enjoy a bath so much with the bubbles in cold water???)

Where to start?

Well, this is exciting… my first post. Haha.

So first up, I’d like to recommend that you click on the Why B*witching? section at the top of the page. I’ve set that up as a bit of an introduction to my blog.

Today it rained nearly all day. Of course, it was a Saturday; the time when we want to get out and about and enjoy the weekends. The rain doesn’t really bother me that much. I kinda like it. Especially when it falls at night and I’m lying in bed. I think it it somewhat soothing.
